We
try to keep our network fully operational at all times. When things
don't go as planned, however, we feel it's important that our current
and potential customers know.
Current status:
All primary and secondary systems operational.
9-12-2005:
Huge
power outage in Los Angeles brings down all services. Back-up
generators fail. More on this later. Update: Due to the severity
of the power outage, our upstream providers went down, making
some sort of downtime inevitable. However, extra time was needed
to re-power hardware after two of our five generators failed
(four generators are required to keep things running). Measures
have been taken so that generator failure should not happen again.

Complications from last night's upgrade produced some stability
problems. These will be ironed out over the next couple days.
9-14-2004:
An upgrade is scheduled to take place tonight between the hours

is complete and everything is running better than ever. Thanks
for your patience.
8-15-2004:

tonight at midnight in order to replace hardware that failed
earlier today.

degraded reliability.

unacceptable
nature of this occurance, the server will be replaced within
five days. Note: bart.tobinhosting.com has been replaced
with mail.tobinhosting.com to prevent future downtime.
