Second update: Contrary to what was previously stated, WebMail users must also switch usernames. Please use new login names in all circumstances.

For those whose passwords have been changed, the digit '1' was added to the end of your password until it became six characters long, or until it was no longer a dictionary word. If you continue to have difficulty logging in, please contact us right away. If you lack any other means to e-mail, type your message in the Order form. Be sure to include contact information for us to communicate back.

As of Sunday July 24th, 2005, Tobin Hosting will once again be making changes to its hosting facility. While all possible measures are being taken to streamline the transition, there may be one or two occasions when customer settings will need updating.

The first, and by far the most comprehensive, change will come during e-mail migration. Only users who actively use POP3, WebMail, or IMAP accounts are affected. For your convenience, the following information has been compiled to aid your transition.

Username: Your login will change. Find your new login below. On the left is your new login name. On the right is your old login name.

The contents of your mailboxes will remain unchanged. You will not lose any mail. Passwords should stay the same, but could have been changed if they contained too few characters or were based on dictionary words (if you have problems logging in, please contact us). If you use WebMail, your preferences will remain unchanged. If you have forwarding addresses set up, they will continue work.

In addition, to speed up mail retrieval, a new rule will be in effect that moves excess mail from your INBOX to a folder called "old-messages". Mail will only be moved, not deleted.
