The definition of transference is the amount of bandwidth that is used by your site per month. If you have a smaller site, there shouldn't be anything wrong with 1 GB/mo. If you have a bigger site with large pictures, movies, or software downloads, it might be wise to go with a larger plan.

You can always tell how much bandwidth you've used by examining your statistics (if you don't purchase this feature, a simple e-mail to our support staff will tell you how much you've used). If you've bought the wrong amount, you can always adjust it for next month.

An additional charge of $4 will be added to any account for every gigabyte used over the limit. Fractions of a gigabyte will receive fractions of this fee (i.e. 500Mb over the limit will cost $2).
